We first launched the 'On this iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch' feature in as an option to play locally stored audio content on Sonos. The way this feature was originally architected has become unreliable with newer versions of iOS. In the coming months, this feature will no longer be available in the Sonos app. Your iOS device can still be used to control Sonos using the Sonos app. You have a few different options for playing tracks that are stored on your iOS device to Sonos. Some music services allow you to upload, store, and stream your own tracks online. We support the following services that let you upload your own music. Listen to your music the way you like—use the controls in the iTunes window to repeat songs, change the order they play in, and more. To view your music library, choose Music from the pop-up menu at the top left, then click Library. You can also listen to music from a CD. See Import songs from CDs into iTunes. Once a song is playing, you can shuffle songs play them in random order or repeat songs play them more than once. To play a song or playlist in your iTunes library , double-click it, or select it and click the Play button. Turn shuffle on or off: Click the Shuffle button.
Google Play Music is a streaming app and music player that features over 35 million songs, which is impressive compared to a lot of other music streaming apps out there.
